Slingshot Drywall completed an interior drywall and acoustical enhancement package for Stanley Middle School and Burton Valley Elementary, supporting classroom, restroom, and corridor improvements at two active school campuses.
Our scope included complete drywall and taping, furring of walls with C-metal, installation of resilient channels, and double-layer systems, as required, to meet acoustical and impact standards. We also installed an acoustical soundboard into upgraded wall types and completed all patch and repair work associated with electrical and mechanical improvements.
Working within an occupied school environment required precise coordination, safety planning, and minimal disruption to on-campus operations. Slingshot maintained full compliance with prevailing wage, district safety requirements, and contractor documentation standards.
This project demonstrates our ability to support education clients with specialized drywall assemblies that improve durability, acoustics, and long-term performance in learning environments.
